They are 16x16px size per square.

Beautiful! Some serious style improvements over your last platformer. Only thing I feel doesn't quite fit are the trees.

thanks, and I know, trees bother me too XD (I think they fit great for top-down games). And the other background element,tThe flower is based on the classic "sonic the hedgehog" background flowers.

This version is more flat but is better for 2D-platformer.
